Pastoral Care Code

The pastoral support of our students has a holistic approach focused on their overall wellbeing, meeting their needs as students, and helping them to become independent and successful learners. We endeavour to create a physical, mental, and emotional safe learning environment where our students feel respected and appreciated, and can grow in their Christian knowledge as well as their academic skills. a community that know and care about each other, CTC offers our students academic and pastoral support through lecturers, staff and the pastoral care office.

Your Pastoral Care Team is here to help you, both at our Auckland Campus and beyond

Your pastoral care team will ensure that all students at Te Kupenga – Catholic Theological College (CTC) can access the support they need to ensure their academic success and personal hauora (wellbeing). Dr John Evangelista, Team Lead, Fr Brendan Daly if you are an international student; or  Sr Susanna Yun, if you are a  Level 7 student; or Susan Wilson, if you are a  Level 5 or 6 student. As your Pastoral Care representatives, we are happy to hear you, guide you, and support you during your time at CTC.

Level 7 Support:

Here is some information that both new and returning Level 7 students might find useful  during your studies.

Academic support:

Your first point of contact for academic support is always your lecturer. We are here to help you and support you, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions or are having problems with any aspect of your courses.

Academic Support – is offered for your essays’ structure and grammar. You can contact Catherine Lipski for support, particularly if English is your second language.

Contact with UNDA:

If you have any troubles with UNDA (University of Notre Dame Australia), with things like  Blackboard, UNDA Library access, enrolment, etc., your person of contact is Mr George Stanton, Registry and Student Support Officer.
