I am blessed and excited to be appointed as the new Chief Executive of Te Kupenga (September 2022).
I have had a range of roles in the education sector, including teaching, management, experience as a secondary school principal and with the Education Review Office.
My most recent position was Regional Manager for Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (known as Te Kura – previously the NZ Correspondence School).
My academic qualifications include BA (Psychology), BSc (Mathematics), Post Grad Diplomas in Teaching, Education, and Business and Administration, and Master of Management (Massey).
I am also a Justice of the Peace.
I am interested in most sports and have been involved in participating, coaching, administrating, officiating and managing teams in athletics and basketball.
I enjoy national dancing and singing in the choir at the Auckland Dalmatian Cultural Society.
I am married and have two adult children and two grandchildren.
