Role at Te Kupenga: Lecturer in Dogmatic and Moral Theology
I am Fr. Anthony Dung Ngoc Nguyen, a member of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), Australia-Pacific Province and a Vietnamese born. As a graduate from University of Santo Tomas [Philippines], major in Dogmatic Theology and from Don Bosco School of Theology, major in Moral Theology, I have been very much upholding catholic faith and values. My field of interest is the Trinity, the human person, and St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. In my freetime, I love listening to music, gardening and walking.
I was assigned as the Rector of the Salesian Community in Massey, Auckland last year and joined the Te Kupenga family early this year (2026). I truly love the environment here and I hope I can contribute a tiny bit of beauty to the Church in New Zealand.
