Claire joined The Nathaniel Centre in May 2019. She has a background in psychology, forensic psychiatry, social care, bioethics and continental philosophy.
Claire completed her PhD in Bioethics (Continental Philosophy and Psychiatry) in 2018. Drawing on the work of Emmanuel Levinas and Maurice Merleau-Ponty, her thesis focused on understanding the work of therapeutic relationships in psychiatry and what it means to see and to hear another person, to understand their suffering and to walk alongside in the work of healing.
